What kind of playing time is available at my position on your team?

Tell me about the other players that I would be competing with for playing time.

Can I red-shirt my first year at your school?

Are there any physical requirements that are mandatory from year to year at your program?  How would that affect a scholarship?

(If applicable)  What kind of game plan is used on your team?  What can you tell me about your style of play and coaching philosophy?

If I were to walk-on, what are the chances that I would make the team and eventually have a chance to win a scholarship?

What can you tell me about financial aid at your school?

Would a four-year scholarship be available, or is it renewable year to year?

Can I work an outside job during the school year to assist with finances?

If I get hurt, what would happen to my scholarship or financial aid?

What is the graduation rate on your team?  How are academics emphasized within your program?

My major, or area of study, is going to be _____________.  How strong is the department for that major?

What kind of schedule is typical for your student-athletes?  What is their typical day like both in-season and off-season?

Tell me about the housing situation.  Are all the athletes together on campus?  At some point, can I live off-campus?
