Thank you for your interest in College
GAMEplan’s Recruiting Advisor
position. To give you a clearer
understanding about the position, following
is some basic information on getting
started.
Who Is College GAMEplan?
College GAMEplan is one of the nation's most
respected sources for college recruiting
information and services. The products and
services we represent are used daily by
college coaches, high school athletes and
high school coaches. Our national
headquarters are located in St. Louis,
Missouri.
College coaches look to us to provide them
with valuable information on high school
athlete's from around the country. Most
college coaches can not find out about every
athlete in every part of the country, which
is why they rely on College GAMEplan and our
partner companies to be their "eyes and
ears" when scouting talented high school
athletes.
High school athletes look to us for
instructions that give them access to the
college coaches who are searching for
talented athletes for their collegiate
athletic programs. Without College GAMEplan,
many of these high school athletes would go
unnoticed by college coaches, even though
they have the talent to play at some level
in college.
What Does College GAMEplan Do To Promote
High School Athletes?
College GAMEplan and our network of partner
programs send thousands of informational
reports to college coaches every month
regarding athletes that college coaches
would otherwise overlook. These reports
allow a college coach to "scout" the athlete
and view his or her data, allowing the coach
to pursue athletes that would fit their
particular program’s specific criteria and
meet their own particular needs.
Our Recruiting Advisors evaluate athletes,
perform informational seminars on-line and
in-person, interview them for the College
GAMEplan program, and compile the data used
in the reports that are sent to college
coaches. Through our partners, we send
college coaches printed reports, or “Player
Bios”, and provide them with access to an
exclusive college coach internet recruiting
resource located at
www.recruitathletes.com. This site allows a
college coach to enter our nationwide
database online, scout our athletes, print
their information, and recruit them for
their sports program. Our Recruiting
Advisors and partnership staff also call
college coaches throughout the year to find
out what their needs are and to promote our
athletes for their consideration.
As a Recruiting Advisor, you position
entails developing relationships with local
select, club, and high school coaches to
provide them and their team’s players and
parents with free recruiting information
through seminars and on-line webinars.
Seminars are typically performed to one team
at a time and generally include between
10-50 parents depending on the sport.
While College GAMEplan’s monthly newsletter
and web site resources are totally free to
all, we have also teamed with some of the
nation’s leading collegiate advisory
services to provide outsourcing programs
that can help families implement the free
instructions provided through College
GAMEplan. So parents have the option to
follow regular timely instructions designed
to lead them through their own totally free
recruiting program, or if time is limited,
provide them with low-cost, outsourced
resources that perform much of the time
consuming work on their behalf.
Fees for our range of exposure programs vary
by product but generally range from $150 to
$475. We also include both credit card
payment options and payment plans for most
programs to help make our services
affordable for everyone.
Whether a family performs their own free
exposure plan or chooses to enroll in a
College GAMEplan program, Our Recruiting
Advisors work with the family to conduct an
interview evaluation with the athlete and
his or her parents. If the athlete meets our
criteria, we collect important data,
statistics, honors, awards and contact
information and develop their Player Bio
and/or online Video Profile that will be
sent to colleges throughout the country.
Depending on the program the athlete’s
family has selected, we send their updated
information to targeted college coaches
every 4-6 months throughout the athlete's
high school career. This allows an athlete
who might be getting overlooked by college
coaches to now enjoy exposure to hundreds
(even thousands) of sports scholarship
opportunities throughout the country! And,
you as the College GAMEplan Recruiting
Advisor made it all possible by allowing
coaches around the nation to find out about
athletes in your area.
No other high school scouting service in the
country does as much as College GAMEplan for
deserving high school athletes!
